With a dilapidated bus station best serve their loitering habit and numerous off licenses and Wheatherspoon Bars they have been served a mighty Capitol in which to stretch their ever-expanding hive of Burberry. I argue that an Essex accent is a potent weapon especially when peppered with the liberal use of the ‘C’ word – an abhorrent prostitution of our fair language. Random, sporadic violence and record numbers of ‘ASBO’ (Anti-Social Behavior Disorder) are now the norm in this once great town. They laugh at the initiated, nay they cackle. Indeed to the untrained ear they seem to choke. Only this week a 14 year old boy/chimp in cap and polo shirt (do I need to tell you the collar was raised?) has been handed an ASBO and expelled from school for violence and disruption – there is no hope for him save a tidy jail cell!
Colchester is now overrun with the benefit-grabbing filth that are the Chav class. My usual tolerance of the under classes has abandoned me. Had the problem been contained in Colchester’s borders then I could rightly call myself, and other Tax paying subjects, a hero in a futile attempt to spare the nation from the cancer that is the Chav! Not so…
It appears they have established clans in all corners of our once fair Island. Now is the time to rise against the puerile monkeys, absent of brain! They have slowly indoctrinated themselves into our culture and are now so rife our very way of life is approaching its impending collapse!

well i live on greenstead estate in the better part of it now most of this estate is shit but most places are these days im not a f**king chav nor will i ever be most places around this historic town are nice and alot of the people are nice as well ive lived in colchester for 6 years and i like the town yes it has its mental idiots and chavs have you visited chatham lately? them you will see its the chav capital and it has more benefit bums there than here in colchester the part of the estate im in now is nice and quiet the worst parts of the estate is the bottom newer half than the older side for example where the bloke was murdered a couple of years ago and then a week later a stabbing thats where the chavs and scum live the schools are fine around here not that i went to them as im not from essex my partner is and she is not thick or a chav most of the comments on this shitty site are from pathetic posh cunts who have nothing better to do with their lives

I can’t say much on the subject but I only lived in greenstead for a year, but the first week I was there I was beaten up by 10 chav’s (luckily had people with me who knew them and got them sent down) and for the rest of my stay, all I got was abuse from a whole lot of scum living there, especially in the town centre. Thank god I moved away from that hole!!!

Having lived in Colchester for most of my life and going to one of the best schools there i can quite openley say the writer of the colchester section is quite clearly full of bullshit. Like every where Colchester has its good and bad parts and yes of course theres going to be chavs!! everywere has chavs you dumb f**k! –not only that, every where has single mums, its a none fact that the rate of single mums all over briton has gone up in the last few years. you obviously have no life you be writing about chavs? its life mate.. DEAL WITH IT! if you knew as much as you say about Colchester you would no where the good and bad parts are. Just to let you know the Colchester Grammar school is one of the best in the country, as is the CCHS. You’ll be very lucky if your children can manage to get into either.

I am a student at the uni who has lived in greenstead for 4 months.
It is shit, full of chavs who smoke right outside our back gate, we get shit (wooded planks)thrown at our house, and we got burgled over christmas, where some chavs jacked off over my flat mates bra.
not all are skum ofc, but 1/2 are useless to our economy and a complete drain on the system, and basically the world would be a better place without their imoral presence.

Is ‘Stef” Vicky Pollard in disguise ? Am with you all the way, having lived in Colchester for 35 years, the only thing that surprises me is that this phenomenon has taken so long to rear its ugly head, as trust me, its nothing new. Colchester has been a dumping ground for years, not just London overspill, to which I would say more than 90% of its Chav population can trace their roots, but all varieties of assorted nutters. When I arrived here back in the 70′s it was a town of some 60,000 inhabitants and the first thing that amazed me was the amount of mental hospitals it had, of course now swept away these last 20 years by Thatcher, meaning that they are now walking the streets. The other main cause of it being a major Chavtown is the inbreeding that has taken place between London (urban) ruthlessness and Essex (rural, i.e the carrot-crunchers that were its denizens prior to the aforementioned overspill) ignorance. Loved the one about resuming atmospheric nuclear testing on Chavstead too, but please let me know in advance as I’m only a mile or so down the road…
