I know this has been done before but it really has to be emphasised. I’ve lived here almost my entire life but travelled around Britain a lot and nowhere have I come across a place more chav infested than Gosport. If Chavland was a country then Gosport would be it’s capital city without a doubt.
Everywhere you turn theres a burberry cap, a kappa tracksuit or a group of loudmouth chavs wanting a fight. I just got back from uni and within four hours of being home I had already been jumped by a group of slack jawed, burberry wearing knuckleheads known as the ‘Forton Crew’. They smashed a bottle in one of friends faces just because we said ‘we don’t want any trouble’. They live by the ‘MY brothers just got out of prison’ mentality and strut around Gosport highstreet like they own the place.
On top of the infamous ‘Forton Crew’ Gosport boasts some enviable chavscum stastics. For four years running Gosport has been the Teenage pregnancy capital of Europe and Gosport has the highest crack user ratio in Britain. Its a vertiable hive of lowlife, Nickelson wearing losers whose vocabulary barely stretches past ‘nah’, ‘innit’, ‘gash’ and ‘savage’.
The trouble with Gosport, and Portsmouth, is that Chavs are an institution. There numbers are growing everyday. A Chav grows up to be a Chav Dad with his Chav wife (who looks like a cross between Christina Aguileras older more STD ridden mother and road kill) and they have Chav kids. The Cycle will continue this way until Gosport, and every middle of the road back water town in England has been taken over by Chavs and their offspring.
I say we start the revolution now! Hit the Chavs where it’ll hurt most – right in the Nova. Let it begin in Gosport. Humanity should fight back before it’s too late.

Gosport is absolutely full of chavs but dont always let looks decieve you. in the summer i wear a baseball cap to keep the sun off of my face so that it doesnt burn, it not a burberry cap, but its a cap all the same. i wear a soverighn ring, in fact i wear a lot of rings because they all have been bought for me, so have some sentiment. i wear 3 gold necklaces which also have sentiment so therefore i wear them all the time and never take them off, theyre not tacky charms, but theyre gold all the same. i wear hooped earings just because i like them, but theyre not down to my shoulders. i wear sports clothes, some named, some not, just because its comfortable, and my trainers are white and clean, because i look after them. but im not a chav. its all to do with the attitude, the language and the walk. they all have a strange walk wear their arms swing out, they think they look hard, i think they just look stupid. so dont go thinking that just because someone dresses like them that they are one of them, its all to do with the anti-social behaviour and the look at me aggresive attitude!!, but dont be scared, its all an act!!! lets get rid of them all, we would do it with any other vermin

i no im quite young an sum may say i dont have aluce what i amn going on about but i am 14 and have lived in gosport all ym life i ahve never experieneced any of these stories or heard of anyone that has i believe that gosport does have alot of chavs but i do not believe it is as bad as some of you are makign out i believe people feel intimidated by the chavs so there for make them out to be somethign there not there are chavs in every place you go to you cannot escape them. gosport is no worse than many other places and i believe that some of these stories have been exagerated gosport is an okay place and i believe its a gr8 place to live tho there is better.

i must agree with all comments posted here, i am 15 and have the unfortunate luck to attend brune Park after i turned a place down for a grammar school and most people whom most live in a rundown estate Rowner and they strut round thinking they are all it and are top of the world and then you get the odd person who thinks hes a chav above the rest i mean whats wrong with this place it could be a nice place if we blew up half the housing estates these people dont seem to understand what idiots they are in 20 years time there be in a gutter costing us money GET RID OF CHAVS
And one Sunday lunch time in Gosport, for want of absolutely anywhere else to eat, I watched with ghoulish fascination as several naval problem families staged a party for their children. The adults were verbally threatening, massively hung over, the children were snot-encrusted, foul-mouthed.

totally agree. me and my mate finished work this saturday just passed and decided to have a few drinks. we did not have enough cash to go to bar or club so we found a bench in a park in elson (big mistake) and had a good drink. 5 mins later a few birds came over and start to chat to us. then 2 mins later, a townie comes over with his shirt off, burberry hat pointing at the moon, walks up to me and twats me. He then runs away me and my mate walk over and he starts shouting, you want some bruv!!!he then runs over to the park swings grabs all his 10 mates so me and my mate decided it wud be safe to walk away. first time ive ever been drinknig in that part of gosport and last time aswell!
