My cousin used to live in churchill near the shops in the 90′s, it was the same then, rough and dangerous, if someone wnated to knife you they would!! I would stay with my cousin for the holidays and i used to think i was cool and hard untill i went to churchill, they were flaming solid back then, now they are muppets!! 1997/1998 i knew a lad from Maypole 10 minutes away from redditch his name was liam, he was the cheekiest kid i ever met, always cheekin gangs and getting puched in the eye, anyway he went to churchill one night and got a real beating, they put him in the telephone box and set him alight, he died. i used to work in the chippy at maypole, he used to come in and throw chips at my customers and spit at old ladies. Anyway i have moved on from my sad life and now i live in Crete, i have a 50% share in a garden centre and i love my new life. The Chavs and the Anti Chavs are the same in my book, Educated vs Uneducated. Shame. Theres more to life than England, theres a whole world out there. Go See.

i don’t see how you can judge me for misspelling a few words, where are you in life i have just turned 16 and not long left school, i have an apprenticeship which i had got whilst still at school, ill admit I’ve had a time in my life where i have been a chav but only to fit in with the people that i lived by, i have moved to headless cross where i don’t have to be a chav to fit in, its people like you that makes Redditch a depressing place.

Redditch is the shittest place I’ve ever lived and I have lived in some supposed shitholes in Brum. Its full of people with no ambition, not future and no morals. Walking into the Town Centre at about 11am any day of the week is liking walking into a scene out of ‘The Hills have Eyes’. If you don’t agree with this then your either seriously f**king deluded or your one of the inbred morons in question.

Chavtown redditch has hardly any chavs there’s only 3 mcdonalds because we aren’t greasy fast-food people who eat junk all the time it does have a cinema there is graffiti but there is anywhere and it is art i think you went to the wrong redditch I would love to come and see your town and tree isn’t a skate-shop so you should gave gone to spec savers !!!!!

Redditch has the disadvantage of being an industrial town in a post industrial era.
Rather than mocking the chavs, maybe we should look at ways of giving them purpose!
After all, they are still human! Yes they are!
Their behaviour is caused by nurture rather than nature.
Unfortunately, chav culture is not confined to redditch, it’s a national phenomenon, and although it may be fun to point and laugh i think it would be more constructive to deal with the cause than to laugh at the symptom

Ahh.. once again a prime example of the chav species at work. Completely oblivious that her comments only serve to highlight the kind of people who love, and live, in this town. The dregs of society leeching their way through life and then re-producing multiple little clones of themselves to leech some more. With each generation becoming less intelligent than the last, it’s kind of reverse evolution. Eventually, little more than cave dwellers, barely able to talk, marking their territory and defending their tribe. Just magnificent!
