Witham is exactly as descirbed. I am from Braintree – the chavvy big sister – and it is just as bad as all that, and worse! I also went to the bomber school, haha, and worked next to where the guy got muredered. I wonder sometimes if braintree and witham are getting worse but then I just look at the older generation and realise they are just as chavvy as the kids and they are even worse becasue they think they know more. grr

Not only do I agree about witham and braintree but have to add that I have the unfortunate misplacement to be living in upper class chav ville (a.k.a. Beaulieu Park) where chavs with poor backgrounds who suddenly strike it rich can live out their days with their fellow chavs in giant dolls houses. It seems that the chavs had to extend from chelmer village and expand their living quarters so that they could fit in all of their pumped up fiats and citrons with boom boxes. Of course very similar to witham with the sewage works being a mere kilometre away and the chav highway to london just around the corner.

I live in Braintree, the chavvy sister town and have to agree. Witham is a total shithole. It also smells because of the malt works, food flavourings factory and of course the sewage farm 300 yards from the town centre!
