Denton Denton Denton, the shit hole of manchester!Last year was rather famous featured on comic relief,the kiddy scallies run around with no shoes.
I am unlucky to have driven round Denton,and the fisrt thing i noticed was,the amount of VERMIN running round the streets!i seen i big,black RAT!
Most of the houses dont have windows(as they are council),so many window cleaners dont have jobs. Those who do have a “career”,sell the big issue in manchester town centre. The typical person in denton wheres a sky divers suit with spinderman trainers!
denton is such a slum poeple have to walk 3 miles to the nearest well,what a SHITHOLE!
Well Ive lived in Haughton Green for the past 3 yrs originaly from Chester m.. a outsider! Its certainly opened my eyes n my families 2 having lived in the middle of 4 Main drug dealers and neighbours who dont care mmmm Denton u can stick it. Even the police turn blind eye to these scum. Nothing to do for kids only one youth club but not open everynight and closed at 9pm. Kids roam streets smoke dope and bottle of voddie, no wonder they dont do well at school! The people are also rude ignorant if it doesnt affect them then go away! My family and I are well out of it thanks. So if youre thinking of buying in area m dont renting o.k. if you are 1 of them otherwise run!
Denton used to be a relatively dull quiet place. It now has a large modern shopping area and a McDonalds. Do I need to say any more?
A major problem I’ve had since moving here is the preponderence of scroats on bikes travelling at speed on pavements, round corners, with no concern for anyone else. I’ve actually found myself having to look around before moving from one side of the pavement to the other in case one of these characters is travelling behind me. Someone with a weak heart would be a goner.
Honestly there’s far worse places than Denton and there’s still a lot of decent people and neighbourhoods here but it is less and less desirable and coming to resemble one of the central Manchester suburbs, no offence.

As this is Chavtowns I will give my impression as someone who lived there for 12 years and until recently. Yes, Denton has a growing chav culture, visit Crown Point North shopping centre on any day of the week and they are there on display like monkeys at the zoo. No point denying otherwise, Denton has succumbed to chav culture just as the rest of the city and country have.
To observe the species in their element just visit the town when the ‘fun fair’ makes one of it’s SIX annual visits to the town, yes I said SIX. You see, Denton is not a poor town, working class yes but the vast majority of people there do work and so their children have large chunks of their parents disposable income. The fair is where the chav kids go mad, get drunk, eat junk, shag in waste ground behind the Toll Point and generally make a complete arse of themselves. Unfortunately Denton does have a growing number of adult chavs as well, any weekend night they are out getting bladdered around Crown Point and fighting each other. The decent people of Denton and there are a great many avoid the town centre at those times and generally stay at home eating takeway and drinking supermarket booze rather than risk a beating at the hands of some muppet with ‘tats’ and a shaved head.
Sad really, I have always liked Denton, went to high school there and appreicated the sense of community. That really seems to be dying off these days though as people cannot socialise much anymore with the town centre not being very safe most nights.
Plenty of good people there though, one thing Denton is not short of.
Oh, come on, Denton is NOTHING like that!
If you DID see a rat, it will be because of the fact that Denton is surrounded by lush woods and greenery.
Most of the houses are not council and any houses that ARE owned by the council are well maintained.
