Grimsby is the largest town in the relative calm that is Lincolnshire. If you should ever visit, come equipped with a Burberry baseball cap and socks tucked into your shellsuit bottoms otherwise you will stand out like a sore non-Chav thumb!
I suppose everyone who’s added their town to this impressive Chav Towns list will think their inhabitants are by far the worst, but I both urge and challenge you to spend a day in Grimsby and neighbouring Cleethorpes. “What’s this?” I hear you cry, “Two towns nominated? Surely that’s not allowed”. Regrettably Cleethorpes goes with Grimsby as well as butter goes with bread.
By day the Chavs play havoc within Grimsby town centre, either lurking in the shadow cast by McDonald’s doorway; swigging meths from the bottle at the old Brighowgate bus station; stripping chest-bare and jumping into the condom infested river Freshney to ‘big up’ their possy; or undertake drugs and petty crime within the shopping precinct, Freshney Place. Many are only truly understood by their three-legged, half bald, limping canine companions called Leo.
Malicious intent and behaviour come as something natural to Grimsby’s finest Chavs. Grimsby has more single-parent mothers than any other town in the UK, and the UK leads Europe, so statistically Grimsby has more loose, up-for-it, sexually moral-less women than any other settlement in the soon-to-be Super State that is Europa. Just the kind of women that Chavs nationwide like to prey upon and knock about after a few pints; the women, who know nothing else, see this as acceptable behaviour.
This is where Cleethorpes rears its ugly head. By day it’s becoming an ever-growing seaside resort, where the Yorkie Chavs come with their possessions in bin bags to reside at the “Fitties” holiday camp. Yorkie Chavs do not mix with Grimsby/Cleethorpes Chavs and the bloodshed is generally within the family so-to-speak until nighfall, when the pubs and clubs open, luring the Burberry cap-wearing local Chavs “up Meggies” (the slang name for Cleethorpes) to share a 5 litre bottle of p*ss (sorry, I mean cheap cider) and go on the rampage at 1.45am attacking, slapping, spitting at whoever comes between them and their chance to show off in front of a CCTV camera.
Nowhere but Grimsby/Cleethorpes are there Chavs that go out intent on injuring specific people – bus drivers, train conductors, door men – none are safe. I was once on a bus in Sheffield where the native Chavs there took a random pop at the bus with a brick; no one was specifically targeted, just the bus, owned by some anti-gay Scottish millionaire. Not so in Grimsby! Ah yes, Grimsby, the home of the fastest running train conductors.
i have to say grimsby has got to be the worst town in the uk its totally rank on every level i have never been to a town with so many rude abnoxious people in it before. dont even get me started on the chavs its no wonder the only place thats does any trade here is the jobcentre and the pound shops flatten the place and do everyone a favour.
Cleethorpes is shit, but it does good chips.

Not fair to tarnish everyone with the same brush as this applies to a sizeable amount of people, however having said that, this assessment in general is on the money in all aspects. Most other towns are made up the same too – including areas of Cities, the common denominator in all of this is that the areas that we speak of are in poverty, no prospects barring life on the dole as if it’s a way of living, fed up of life as it owes them somrthing, and being bored – hence what they get up to.
Indeed, Grimsby is probably the most chav-infested dump in the entire UK, with Nottingham being a close second. Still, when writing about the scum of the earth it’s wise to do so from a position of education, so it’s best not to expose yourself to ridicule by misspelling “posse” and a variety of other words, or using awful non-expressions like ” undertake drugs” which don’t make sense.
This isnt completly true. Some parts && most parts of Grimsby are pretty shit. They are full of skanky chavs just waiting to cause trouble when they have had a few beers. I know this, as when I was younger I used to be one. My parents live near cleethorpes lesure && they never hear of any trouble. I had a flat through the council in the high rise && it was dreadfull, full off skag heads && smakheads. Some woman got shanked in the stair ways. But I’ve grown up && moved back to cleethorpes && its such a nice place. They shoul never be classed as one.

If you took the time to think about what you’re saying instead of relying on the young-uneducated-chav-pushing-a-pram-through-town stereotype, you would realise how biased you sound. Last time I checked it took two to make a baby? The only thing that ‘statistic’ shows is that the TWO people that created the life are no longer together. No other circumstances except the image that you conjured up in your small mind.

in grimsby there is shit schools sorry bout my language and there for they cannot control the kids so they go of sick and they have to get supply teachers there for the kids rek the classrooms supply teachers go running out the classrooms rawing there eyes out and kids act all innocent and that she cant do her job right and teenagers go to college to try and get an education my brother lives in grimsby and he is a chav and he gets payed 2 grand a month for doing up cars and he went to the shityest school in grimsby so it shows that people who live in the “BIG BAD GY” do get jobs and a life so why put us down why dont you concentrate on places like manchester eg/ i was down “MEGGIES” today and sum lads from manchester started on me and my m8s for smiling and we arnt chavs our music is ..
