I have to say that ” Brinny” has to be the chaviest town ever. Brinny is isolated from Stockport, and Just as soon as you hit ”Brinny Hill” you will come to no official sign that says what the area is, just a wall with the words “BRINNY” spray painted on it. Then as you go deeper into the Estate, you will see all the scruffy shops where you cant even see the shutters because there covered in graffiti. Even inside the shop it has Tags on the walls. LoL.
They even sell TN’s in there. Its Spar for god sake. You would be lucky if you even got near the shop without having a gang look you up and down, spit on you and say..” Wot da fuk are you lukin at, dye want mi 2 bang ya ryt now”. As you turn the corner to try and get away you will find even more “scallies” Hangin around the shops!! And its not a nice place either…oh no!!There are dirty nappies lying around the streets, Druggy needles sticking out of the grass, smashed glass everywhere, beer cans, and graffiti again.
The local toilets is like a shop for drug dealers. Anyone who wants to buy any go there. And the wierd thing is that there is a Police station across the road which has been abandoned. There’s power fences and barb wire around the roof and yet nobody runs it?
There is a lot of trouble that goes on between these “Chavs”. I mean me and my mum was walking to the library with my little sister- aged 1, and aload of yobs started gobbing it off to another lot of yobs. We’re there with a baby and a fight was kicking off, and not to mention across the road where another fight had already kicked off and someone got dragged into a car. Now if thats not a bad advertisement for Stockport, I dont know what is. And thats just a few things that happen. It has to be NW chaviest town!!!

what a load of bollocks the author of this ‘review’ has clearly been buying and injecting to see what he believes is brinny and must have been on one hell of a trip, what a knob head.
I have lived in Brinnington for most of my life, I have a good education i’m married with two children who both have the same daddy and yes that is my husband, we both have good jobs, aren’t drug user have never been to prision! There are bad people everywhere in this world and i would like to see the children of brinnington do better than there parents have but in order to do that people need to stop telling them they are nothing and will never amount to anything because of were they live! And benny if you dont like Brinny then get gone and live somewhere else simple as that because the people that are working hard everyday to change this place dont need people like youi, if you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem!
The review is a little outdated as a lot of investment has been given to brinnington, although, the area is still as bad as before, although it looks a little better.
The local chavs are still trying to kill eachother, except when they are trying to mug you instead.
Dont ever visit, EVER, i mean avoid totally. I would advise a 5 mile exclusion zone if your traveling anywhere near stockport.

What a load of rubbish. I have lived here 7 months and have never had any one “look me up and down and want to fight”. As for dirty nappies and needles everywhere; i think you must of watched a film and seen that because its not here.
The good points of living here is the people. People here are friendly and where ever you go, from the bus stop, to the shops, to the school gates there is always someone wanting to have a chat.
People here are always willing to improve themselves and the area, the Childrens Centre offers many courses and many community involved projects.
I think “outsiders” are always too quick to put down the local people here but at the end of the day i have never lived any where with such good community sprirt.
