Quite possibly the chaviest town in Somerset, everytime I go there, they seem to have grown in population…the town itself isn’t all that big, yet recently not one but TWO people appeared on ‘Poor little rich girls’ from Bridgewater. (They were both on the poor side, and the rich girls were not very impressed with lovely little Bridgewater)
Minus a couple, most of the shops are chav-friendly, such as the 99p shop, Wilkinsons, Select, Seconds ahead, and not to mention around 15 charity shops.
Expect to find lots of people running around in cheap and nasty clothing, sports clothes, brightly coloured items…you get the idea.
On my last visit to Bridgewater we drove past a couple of blokes that had obviously been involved in a fight, covered head to toe in blood. Not a pretty sight, but nor is Bridgewater.

ok, i have lived here all my life. BRIDGWATER is the BEST town in somerset. if youre going to be a thick idiot and try to put it down then at least learn to spell it, cus your area must not be that good if you cant spell BRIDGWATER!!

I lived there for a while ( less than a year) and i totally agree with you. People there seem to have no life, ambitions or plans for studying and career. All they care was smoking, ‘getting pissed and stoned’ as they used to say in my school there. Most of them have never been outside Bridgewater and they were not tolerating foreign people which made me suffer a great deal..as after every sentence there was a ‘pardon’ of their side, pretending that they cant understand me. My goth friend had a milkshake thrown at her…..because she was different from them. Different is bad there.
People in ‘briggy’ as they call it, are inbred. Honestly. Cousin to cousin, leading to a lot of Down syndrome and disable children suffering genetic illnesses. A lot of depressed people taking drugs.
