First I visited the well known end of Wycombe called Downley. I heard about such gangs as The Creepers and Downley City Vandals. They each have their own colour bandanna. Some members are known to be in jail. They are both mixed race gangs, consisting of black and white men between 13-20 years old. Most are Mc’s or Rappers who make tracks rapping about how gangster they are etc. I was told that it would not be a smart move to walk around Downley of a nightime. Local chavs and gangsters run the streets, and a few weeks back, a man was found stabbed dead in a car on Downleys main road.
I should mention Castlefield. Full of asians. You will be lucky to see a black or white face. Graffiti states comments such as Jump White People and Pakis Rule. the place itself is full of shit, with litter everywhere. Castlefield is known as a White no go area. Somebody i know was mugged on the bus in castlefield in broad daylight. it is an asian and pakistanie community, and the youths did seem to give a warm welcome to a white face.
Many pointed at me as i drove through, and some even shouted abuse.
Micklefield is on the other end of town, and consists of gangs such as the east side riders. it is a most black community, although some white people do live there. Gangs rule the area. everybody in the area seems to get on well, but, outsiders such as gangs from diffrent areas cause turf wars.
High Wycombe also has a feud with rival town Slough. Wycombe gangs and Slough gangs have an ongoing war, and are always making “tracks” about each other.
Overall high wycombe is a smelly shithole, full of gangster chavs with fake gold and fake diamond earrings. If you can avoid the place, i would advise you do.

well im 12 and i go to a school there and I live ther… I get on really well and we have lots of cool people in hear!!! Look your just trying to be rasist! Of course there are some niver towns but i didnt hear anything about any vandalisms in town!
High wycombe isnt even bad, lived here all my life, have no problem with it, id rather live here than some posh place because ive learnt to stick up for what is right, in Wycombe there are a lot of asians and blacks, and what? whats wrong with that exactly, theres a lot of white people in beaconsfield dont see any blacks or asians slating them off, me myself im half black and half white so stop pin pointing out asians this blacks that, its called racism because i see most gangs have asians whites blacks everything there, im 16 years old, seen it all, no ones perfect, dont like high wycombe dont come here, dont moan about it untill youve actually tried to help. i would never ever change where i grew up. Ever. Oh yes and search for ‘Highcrest Academy’ its a secondary school in ‘rough’ mickelfield, has a 100% pass rate and plenty of blacks and asians, oh and of course whites to, used to be nicknames ‘prison on the hill’ changed a lot, , sorry about spelling mistakes was typed quickly.

Never have I read such rubbish. Wycombe is a lovely place to grow up, 20 years later and nothing has changed. Some of the best schools in the country are based in High Wycombe. Having now become a lawyer after attending one of the local grammar schools, I am now looking at properties for me and my partner to move into.
I was born in Wycombe and lived there until the age of 21 when I moved because of my job. I have moved back more than once….
I went to Wycombe schools and got a good education, mingled with the multicultural community and have to say that 99% of the reviews if High Wycombe on this site are utterly untrue, lies, deception and spin. Yes, there are some shady areas, as there are in every town, all over the world. Downley being the gang centre of the UK? – never heard anything funnier! Seriously……
I grew up in High Wycombe and was around there in the 70′s and 80′s. I lived on the edge of Downley, more towards Hughenden Park and guess what – I DONT GO BACK THERE NOW!!! If anyone asks me where I was born, I tell them Marlow, or Henley or Beaconsfield. High Wycombe is an embarrassing smelly industrial shit hole where everyone throws their crap. No one wants to mess up the beautiful river side communities, so they throw everything into Wycombe and Slough. When I was at school, the Asians were only just arriving and couldn’t speak a word of English – now they outnumber whites. I hate the place now, its ugly, stinks, full of black, brown and white trash gangsters. They should nuke it.
