I just happened to come across this whilst browsing for Chav references, and have to say I find it quite inaccurate.
I am from Portsmouth, am well educated, am not fat, I don’t go out wearing “trackys” as you call them, nor am I a slag. I’m also pretty well travelled, yet still love it here as my friends and family are close by, all of whom are lovely people.
Whilst I completely agree that Portsmouth has it’s poorer areas, I feel the need to point out that every City in the country has the same. I don’t think you can point the finger at individuals who find themselves in certain situations and generalise a specific tag – I actually believe this is a reflection on your lack of education, knowledge and awareness of society as a whole.
Portsmouth has a lot of history and you could actually learn a lot from the more important side of the city than the one you seem to focus on.
No doubt this will spark yet another zero-intelligence reply, unless said person has since gotten themselves a meaning to their life and grown up with a bit more understanding. I hope so, it saddens me that blinkered arrogance overcomes the true nature of things.

I happened upon this ‘string’ when attempting to find pictures or descriptions of Chav to email to a friend back in the USA. I left Portsmouth as soon as I could. Born there and hate the place. LIke most of the UK …scum breeds like flies. So the whole country is rapidly becoming a country of useless, ignorant scum. Before you slag off the in-bred and un-educated low-lifes for being thick, please learn the spelling and use of correct words. ‘There’ (not here) is different to ‘their’ (belonging to them) and ‘they’re’ (they are).
