Chesterfield… what a state… this a s**tty little town where there are more caravans than people, where you can’t move for the gypsy scum bags and chavvy inbreds. Its not really surprising when you consider that whole families cram into these tiny metal sheds in the town centre, shagging each other from dawn to dusk just to avoid having to do a scrap of work… if the they can keep their hands off the numerous farm animals wandering through the local shops and pubs, where there are lines for their services. If any of the little s**ts does manage to drag themselves into school then there are always the local paedophiles to keep them entertained. Hopefully, the skid mark that is Chesterfield is removed from the face of the earth.

You have absolutely no idea about this fantastic place! Chesterfield one of the oldest market towns in the country with a fantastic history of inventive people which no doubt has changed your life and everybody else’s! ( ie. george Stephenson- for you uneducated invented the steam engine, which for even more simple uneducated people that’s to do with trains) secondly we have a very established tourism industry. Chesterfield is also on the edge of the peak district! A place of natural beauty and where people from all over the world come to visit!
This guy who believes that our women offer sexual activity for little money and claims we are also inbred. For a start are you that uneducated or simply suffering from a lack of brain cells (sorry you may need to read up about this were touching on biology). According to your contradictory conclusion this is not possible because imbed people don’t have sexual activity with “outsiders”. Therefore your comments are blatantly a lack of intellectual thought and complete fantasy! I believe this as came into your uneducated mind because A you wasn’t breast fed as a child and have a perverted obsession with breasts of all aged females, hence your comment about a mass amount of peodofiles in the area. B because you wish that women would offer you services at this rate because you can’t actually attract a female. C. Im from Pluddlesley valley on the south east coast,I had the missfortune to go to Chesterfield see about buying a “WW2 German Volswagon jeep”ha ha.Firstly the address turned out to be a field with a load of clapped out caravans and cavemen type people roaming around holding on to cheap cider cans and smoking dope,little kids s**tting in the bushes.The ww2 jeep turned out to be a 1970s VW beetle with the wings cut off and bits welded to it and the roof cut off.Painted gloss green and brown at a pathetic attempt at cammoflauge,plus a silly swastica painted on it the wrong way round,and holes that was said to be bullet holes along the side someone had drilled.What a s**t hole,on leaving the “field” and its sad inhabitants of which wouldnt have looked out of place in a Mad Max film,we stopped at a shop only to be approached by local fat spotty teanage crackhead “girls”asking if we wanted sex,full sex £7.50p,handjob £5,blow job £4,and buggery £2.50 without a condom.We jumped back in the car and drove away as fast as possible back to Pluddlesley,and took a long hot shower with lots of disinfectant incase we picked up germs or lice from the locals…..scum,dont go there.

I was baffled by this review. I lived in Chesterfield for 8 years. I went to school in Chesterfield, shopped in the amazing Market Hall, went to the Civic Theatre, swam at Markham Bath, joined the great library, worshipped at the Crooked Spire, was treated at the Royal Hospital. I went to my first concert in Chesterfield, saw my first football match at Saltergate, watched first class cricket in Queens Park, and was as miserable as sin when we moved away. I still visit regularly and I don’t recognise your description at all. Is there another Chesterfield?

I’ve lived in Chesterfield for 6 years now and I’ve always found it to be a ok place to live. Yes there can be trouble in Chesterfield especially at night around the clubs and such but overall it’s a ok place to live.
I was born in Chesterfield and lived the first 30 years of my life there. I can’t remember ever seeing gypsy’s in the centre of town. Maybe a few in the excellent countryside only 30 mins. drive out of town.
Had a great time growing up and spending my teenage and early drinking, pubbing, clubbing life there. Being a market town meant there were always good pubs and longer licensing hours than most places. People used to come from Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham to Chesterfield for Stag Nights and Hen parties. Was always a bit on the rough side and the last bus quite often went straight to the police station rather than Clay Cross.
I remember Adam & Eve (rough), Jingles (rougher) and Aquarius (posh, needed to dress respectably). Had great times in all of them. Pretty easy to get in a brawl there if that was what turned you on, some people like that type of action and Chesterfield was accommodating on that front, no matter how “hard” you thought you were.
Always knew where you were with the Chesterfield girls too and how likely it was you would get your leg over, which was pretty often. Judging by the posts in this section doesn’t sound like it’s changed too much.
I moved to Chesterfield when I was 14 and I love it! Try living in Telford noes that’s s**t!!! You obviously has never been to Chesterfield:
1. I own a pub in chesterfield town centre and there are now bloody sheep an farm animals in there just good respectable people.
2. Every single one of my friends has a job! I know only one person who does not work and that’s because he had his leg blown off at war.
3. I have never seen a bloody caravan in the town centre
4. Chesterfield has one of the best colleges in Derbyshire where people come from everywhere to study there were people from Sheffield, Nottingham, derby, Mansfield, and Buxton all just to study there and guess what you little sh*t ever single people in my class went to university as did I!
5. Our town centre is beautiful, old lovely buildings, the crooked spire!
6. AMAZING English people!!

i have live in chesterfied my whole life and it not that bad of a place and yeah sure chesterfield has it’s scum bags but what place doesn’t but the rubbish your saying means you haven been there because if you had you would have know that there no inbreds there and people look out for each and the children go to school and most of them get great gcse’s and a level like every other school in the country so the next time you try and bad mouth a place why don’t you go find out what it really like before you do that you might get your fact stright when you do or maybe you would’t bad mouth it but i would’t come and found out about chesterfield now as your not welcome

There must be another Chesterfield that I am unaware of as the comments sound nothing like the place that I live. Sure we have our share of scum bags, but where doesn’t. On the whole the population of Chesterfield is made up of decent hardworking people. The town centre has a fantastic selection of retail outlets and cofee bars, pubs and restaurants. There are some excellent schools – as well as some not so good – and many students from the area go on to university and have very successful careers. The town us currently undergoing a massive redevelopment programme with many Blue Chip companies investing in the region. May I suggest the negative elements either ship out and make it a better place for the rest of us – or as I suspect, those that are not resident in the bourough, take a long hard look at their own towns and leave ours alone!

I hava sister who lives in chesterfield an outcast to our family,a drug addict and drug dealer Scum,its the place where they send all the” problem” people Scum in otherwords,smack heads,and familys whos members cant act like “normal” people.Personaly as their such a drain on the rest of us,ie the crime they cause,permantly on benifits etc which we have to pay,I rent a field off a farmer,put lots of barb wire around it,a couple of heavey machine guns,and heard them into it and open fire.Problem solved.
