I went to St Margaret`s C of E school in Bowers Gifford Pitsea in the 1940s/50s. The infant`s teacher back then was a Miss B.This very strict and wonderful lady had total control over a lot of sometimes misbehaved children. This school back then was high church of england,with a large statue of Mary in the classroom which we had to turn and face at morning prayers. Back then Pitsea was not too bad a place to live, and I have a lot of good memorys of my childhood there.I would go fishing at `Jacksons pond`North Benfleet.Climb Pitsea mount to see the steam trains leave the station.Cycle down to the church at Bowers Gifford,leave my cycle there and walk the footpath to South Benfleet.Playing hide and seek in the many pill boxes built in WW2.They were great days.It is such a shame that over the years Pitsea has become what it is now,a dump,a real pit by the sea.Thank god I don`t live there now.Even the punch up palace `The Railway Hotel`has closed,`Hotel`who in their right sense would want to stay there.And depending which way the wind is blowing you get the stink from the tip or the treatment works at Nevendon.The only good thing I can say about Pitsea nowdays is the Motor Boat Museum at Wat Tylers park.

Great Notley is definitely part of Chavland. However it is a suttle part. Many of the Chavs here try to pretend not to be Chavs. They try to put on airs and graces but they betray themselves carelessly because of their ignorance. They call lavatories "toilets" and napkins "serviettes" and so on, but try to live what they believe is an affluent life style. They try to be like the nouveau riche but without having the riches, and without having any culture.

They live on credit with large debts and large mortgages, but cannot find the money to pay their weekly paper bill often. Most of them cannot speak proper English and they are essentially an overflow from Braintree, which is also already rightly identified hereon as a Chav Town. Many of them believe they have bought an expensive house of their dreams in Great Notley, but they do not realise until they move in that their house has no front garden nor any plot to go with it; then they experience the claustrophobia of windows with eyes looking at them from all around. Some then try to sell up when they realise that they have made an awful mistake, but by then they are already suffering from negative equity and trapped in a nightmare. By then it is too late, and the debts begin to mount. Many took out second mortgages to pay for the supposed affluent life style which they could not really afford but wanted to pretend that they could. Now with rising costs the total monthly repayments are becoming an unbearable burden.

Their kids are mostly badly behaved and troublesome. They like the rest in Chavland go about in menacing gangs or groups, throwing litter everywhere and damaging any artifacts in their path for which they do not have any respect. They like most other Chav kids now seem to be able to get cans and bottles of alcoholic drink under-age from somewhere here and this makes their behaviour worse, as they drink this in the public areas. They ride their bicycles and scooters straight at you on the pedestrain thoroughfares, and if you do not move sideways pretty sharpish then there is no knowing what damage you might suffer.

For most of the week Aveley isnt a bad place to be.  The Hall crescent area where I live is a chavtastic place but they rarely set foot outside in the daytime so they are very rarely a problem.

Friday night in Aveley is where the IQ fairy visits all the chavs and reduces their already dwindling intellect and makes it drop another twenty points.  The top house and rose and crown pubs are the meeting place for chav morons of all ages where they stand and hurl abuse at anything that dares to pass, even cars and buses!  Then theres the garage on the corner.  You cannot fill up with petrol after dark on any night of the week in Aveley.  The chavscum wont ask you to buy beer and fags for them (The people working in the garage would serve a two year old!) these creeps will hurl abuse at you no matter who you are.

The best thing about Aveley chavs (Like all Essex chavs) is that they are not at all worried about showing any kind of class at all.  They dress like clowns, swear and spit like navvys, mate and breed at fourteen and all wear four hundred weight of cheap crap gold but claim every benefit available.

Maldon and heybridge, two joint towns, when people first see these towns, they think its a nice, peacefull place. they couldnt be more wrong. it is actually a degenerating shithole, overrun with chavs. so lets start with maldon. the bigger of the two towns, top chav hangouts:

West Maldon community centre:
on a friday night this place attracts hundreds of chavs that hang around smoking weed, drinking their alcholic mixtures in coke bottles (and the police never even notice!), trying to fight, vandalising anything they see and f**king the many ugly chavettes.

The Square:
the name given by the chavs to the large courtyard in the middle of a run down council flat estate. not so many chavs hang around here any more but its still not a place youd want to walk through. if you are foolish enough to leave your car here, dont be suprised when you come back and find it smashed up. the flats house numerous drug dealers and generly people you dont really want to get on the wrong side of.

The promenade:
many chavs hang out here, drinking, smoking, and tearing around on their mini motos. they graffiti the rain shelters and playground, they hang around the crap skate park stopping any skaters from getting near it.

Cherry Garden road:
few chavs hang around here, but there are some real nasty and dangerous people that live here, the houses are crap and is the closest maldon has to a ghetto. a few years ago the chavs that live there ran riot after this popular boy who lived there was killed in a scooter accident. they were smashing cars, tipping over vans and beating up anyone who got in their way which made it a dangerous place to be.

now for heybridge, smaller and poorer than most of maldon and so many chavs its unbelievable. top chav places include:

Tescos, mcdonalds and park:
all close together. boy racers try to look hard by driving fast around tescos carpark in their crap hatchbacks. mcdonalds is just 500 metres away, never by any food from there cos only chavs work in there. the park is just across a canal from tescos. its brand new and already chavs are ruining it, broken beer bottles and spliff ends all over the place.

bentalls shopping centre:
a crap shopping centre with a chavy sports shop, and nettos. at night loads of chavs hang around here doing nothing, smashing up the bus shelter or chasing anyone who even looks at them. they seem to like hanging around nettos most for some strange reason.

plantation hall:
you will see them all sitting on the grass in a circle getting stoned, and climbing on the climbing frames and falling off looking like twats. dont ever get into a fight here or you will have ever chav there on you.

Bovis Estate
Probably the poorest area in heybridge, lots of council houses, and scummy flats. a rough place, home to all the worst chavs in heybridge, most of them are on weed, crack or smack. at midnight all the street lights go out to save energy, if you walk around the estate on your own at this time, lets just say youd be more safe in Iraq than here.

both towns are getting worse, but the good thing is there are plenty of people that hate chavs in maldon and heybridge to sort them out. together we can destroy the chav scum.
